New Delhi: 1994 batch ICAS (Indian Civil Accounts Service) officer Sanjay Pandey has been repatriated to his parent cadre on personal grounds. he is currently serving as Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer (FA & CAO) of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order to this effect on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, following the approval of the competent authority.
Pandey had joined EPFO on March 16, 2024, at the level of Joint Secretary. He was empanelled as an Additional Secretary on January 10, 2025, and later received an in-situ upgradation to the rank and pay of Additional Secretary on April 21, 2025.
Before his tenure at EPFO, Pandey served as Joint Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment.
His repatriation brings to a close a key phase in EPFO’s financial administration, with further announcements on his successor expected soon.
