In a minor reshuffle of police, the state Home and Hill Affairs department of West Bengal has transferred and posted four IPS officers.
Vivek Sahay has been made the DG of Home Guards. He is an IPS officer of 1988 batch and West Bengal cadre currently posted as the Director General (DG), Provisioning.
Natarajan Ramesh Babu has been made the ADG, Provisioning. An IPS officer of 1991 batch, Mr. Babu was serving as the Director of the Directorate of Economic Offences in the rank of Additional Director General (ADG). Earlier he was posted as ADG, Welfare.
Gyanwant Singh has been transferred to the post of Director of the Directorate of Economic Offences in the rank of ADG. He was posted as ADG of Counter Insurgency Force (CIF).
ADG, Telecommunication Mr. Ajay Nand has been made the ADG of CIF.
