Natural Resources & Industrial Strength: Chhattisgarh Invites Korean Investment to Boost Industrial Growth and Global Partnerships

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai recently addressed the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect program in Seoul, South Korea, organized in collaboration with the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). The event aimed at strengthening Indo-Korean business relations and promoting Chhattisgarh as a key global investment destination.

Strong Indo-Korean Business Relations

Highlighting the growing influence of South Korean brands in India, Mr. Sai said that companies like LG, Samsung, and Hyundai have reached every household and even rural areas of the country. He added that this reflects the deep-rooted economic cooperation between both nations, and states like Chhattisgarh can serve as new hubs for Korean investors.

Natural Resources and Industrial Strength

Mr. Sai underlined that Chhattisgarh has abundant resources such as water, energy, iron ore, and steel, which provide immense industrial potential. He emphasized that the state offers excellent connectivity, a peaceful environment, and a pro-active industrial framework. The state government’s Industrial Policy 2024–30 has been designed to attract foreign investment, encourage technology-driven development, and create large-scale employment opportunities.

Detailed Investment Opportunities Shared

Senior officials from Chhattisgarh’s Industry Department and representatives from investment promotion agencies were present at the program. Korean companies and business leaders were given detailed presentations about opportunities in sectors such as industry, mining, startups, green energy, textiles, and automobiles.

Mr. Sai also shared highlights of the event on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, noting:

“Shared the immense potential of the state with South Korean investors in the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect program together with @kita_net. Our pro-active and development-oriented Industrial Policy 2024–30, abundant natural resources and skilled human resources make Chhattisgarh an ideal destination for global investment and partnerships.”

New Direction for Global Investment

The visit is expected to open new avenues for foreign investment in Chhattisgarh, enabling stronger international partnerships while accelerating the state’s industrial and developmental journey.
