It is a great initiative by the UP government to promote the Sanskrit language and also to encourage the aspirants who have chosen Sanskrit as their main subject. In the past two years, candidates with the Sanskrit language have gained a position in the Top 10 in the State Civil Service Examinations. Out of them, four candidates have been selected and nine of them were qualified for other competitive examinations.
The UP Sanskrit Sansthan session is for 10 months, where training will be in a three phrase manner. The initiative will help the aspirants to prepare for the civil services ranging from the preliminary examination. During the session, the aspirants will also develop knowledge in grammar, philosophy, Sanskrit theatrics, prose, and poetry.
To generate employment by promoting the Sanskrit language in Purvanchal, the government is soon to establish a training center located at UPSS Lucknow, says the USSS’s President, Vachaspati Mishra.
