The launch of these applications marks a strategic regulatory step to make consumer reporting easier and network testing more transparent, especially in a rapidly evolving digital connectivity ecosystem.

- Tracking with Reference IDs so users can follow up on complaints.
- Know Your Sender Feature to identify messages from registered telemarketer headers and the 1600 series.
In 2025 alone, over 17 lakh spam-related complaints were registered through the DND app, enabling effective regulatory action against unregistered telemarketers and repeat offenders.

The revamped TRAI MySpeed App now offers consumers a robust tool to assess real-world network performance:
- Download and upload speed testing under actual usage conditions.
- Latency, jitter, and packet loss measurement, offering deeper insights into network quality.
- Simulated tests for video streaming and web browsing, reflecting everyday user experiences.
- Advanced testing options, including scheduled tests and continuous testing across locations.
- Historical performance insights displayed via interactive geospatial maps.

In addition to the revamped DND and MySpeed apps, TRAI plans further enhancements, including a revamped MyCall app launching in March 2026, which will allow users to provide direct feedback on call quality.
