Haryana Transfers 21 IAS and 42 HCS Officers in Major Administrative Reshuffle; Geeta Bharti Named Hisar Commissioner

Chandigarh: The Haryana government has ordered the immediate transfer and posting of 21 IAS officers and 42 Haryana Civil Services (HCS) officers, carrying out one of the largest administrative reshuffles under the leadership of CM Nayab Singh Saini since his government assumed office.

A total of 63 officers have been reassigned across divisions, districts and departments in an exercise aimed at strengthening the state’s administrative machinery and filling key vacancies.

Geeta Bharti Appointed Hisar Divisional Commissioner

Geeta Bharti, a 2005-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Hisar Division.

She was earlier serving as Secretary in the Home Department and Managing Director of the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation.

Her appointment comes in place of Ravi Prakash Gupta, who has now been shifted.

Ravi Prakash Gupta Posted as Gurugram Divisional Commissioner

Ravi Prakash Gupta, a 2007-batch officer, has been posted as Commissioner of Gurugram Division against a vacant post.

He will continue to hold his existing charge as Secretary of the Urban Estate Department.

Amit Kumar Agrawal Gets Additional Charge of Kurukshetra Development Board

Amit Kumar Agrawal, a 2003-batch IAS officer currently serving as Secretary of Industries and Commerce, Information and Public Relations, Languages, Culture, Heritage and Tourism Departments, has been given additional charge as Member Secretary of the Kurukshetra Development Board.

This comes just days after he was assigned the role of Administrator of Al-Falah University in Faridabad.

Narhari Singh Banger Appointed MD of CONFED

Narhari Singh Banger, a 2001-batch officer who was awaiting posting orders, has been appointed as Managing Director of CONFED.

The appointment fills an important vacancy in the cooperative sector.

Satyender Duhan and Vandana Disodia Get Key Departmental Roles

Satyender Duhan has been appointed Director, Skill Development and Industrial Training, along with the additional responsibility of Additional Secretary in the same department.

Vandana Disodia has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Home Department and Managing Director of the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation.

Satbir Singh Given Fire Services and Ayushman Bharat Charge

Satbir Singh has been appointed Director of Fire Services and Chief Executive Officer of Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority.

Jaideep Kumar Posted in Public Health Engineering

Jaideep Kumar, a 2019-batch IAS officer who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Additional Secretary in the Public Health Engineering Department against a newly created post.

Young IAS Officers Assigned District-Level Responsibilities

Several young IAS officers from the 2021 batch have received fresh district assignments:

  • Lakshit Sarteen – Additional Deputy Commissioner, Hansi, also District Municipal Commissioner
  • Ankit Kumar Chouksey – ADC, Panipat
  • Arpit Sangal – ADC, Sirsa, also CEO Zila Parishad
  • Kanika Goyal – SDM, Ambala Cantonment
  • Yogesh Saini – SDM, Mahendragarh
  • Ravi Meena – SDM, Jhajjar

Other notable IAS postings include:

  • Anjali Shrotriya – ADC, Faridabad
  • Utsav Anand – ADC, Hisar
  • Rahul Raiya – ADC, Karnal

  • Ajay Chopra – ADC and CEO District Council, Sonipat
  • Paramjit Chahal – Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Faridabad
  • Sanjay Kumar – SDO (Civil), Kaithal
  • Pradeep Ahlawat – CEO District Council, Charkhi Dadri

Transfers Effective Immediately

The government said all transfers have come into force with immediate effect and are intended to strengthen governance across administrative divisions, municipal bodies and district-level institutions.
