Live Skill Demonstrations to Engage Visitors

The Skill Development Pavilion, curated by UPSDM, will provide visitors a unique chance to witness live demonstrations across a diverse array of sectors. From agriculture tech to drone innovation, and robotics to modern textiles, this experiential exhibit will showcase how Uttar Pradesh is empowering youth with future-ready skills.

Key highlights include:

  • Plastic product designing and manufacturing
  • Sports equipment production
  • Woodcraft from Varanasi
  • ODOP (One District One Product) artifacts
  • Religious and healthcare handicrafts

Mission Director Mr. Pulkit Khare, during a recent review meeting, instructed that stalls be modernized using interactive technologies to maximize visitor engagement. He emphasized creativity, quality, and innovation to ensure the exhibit becomes a memorable experience.

Tourism Pavilion to Showcase Cultural Heritage and Investment Potential

The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department will feature a dedicated pavilion to spotlight the state’s rich cultural assets and tourism investment opportunities. The exhibit will highlight heritage sites, spiritual tourism, and modern infrastructure—aligning with the state’s vision of making tourism a key driver of its $1 trillion economy goal.

This initiative is part of a larger strategy to brand Uttar Pradesh as a world-class destination for both leisure travel and economic investment.

India Skills Competition: Encouraging Youth Participation at Scale

Aligned with the theme of skill development, the India Skills Competition will also be promoted during the event. In a virtual meeting, Additional Mission Director Ms. Priya Singh directed all district officers to intensify awareness about the competition. The focus is on:

  • Registering maximum youth across all districts
  • Promoting the competition through local colleges, training institutes, and digital media
  • Engaging youth to participate and showcase their talents on a national platform

The registration window for the national-level competition, organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, remains open on the Skill India Digital Portal until September 30.

A Convergence of Tradition, Technology, and Talent

The UP International Trade Show 2025 will reflect Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s developmental vision, emphasizing the convergence of heritage and high-tech, skills and entrepreneurship. It reinforces the government’s agenda to build a resilient, skilled, and self-reliant economy, placing youth and MSMEs at the center of growth.

With contributions from sectors like textiles, tourism, agriculture, manufacturing, and emerging technologies, the exhibition stands as a flagship representation of Uttar Pradesh’s transformation into a future-ready state.

By combining live skill showcases, innovation-led displays, and tourism-driven economic strategy, the UP International Trade Show 2025 is set to become a landmark event. It not only presents Uttar Pradesh’s achievements but also projects its potential as a leading contributor to India’s economic vision. The integration of skill development and sectoral excellence further positions the state as a national leader in inclusive and sustainable development.
