Bilaspur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday announced a major development push for Bilaspur city, inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for projects worth ₹26.93 crore. The grand event was held at the newly constructed Atal Parisar near Arpa River View, marking a significant step toward strengthening the city’s infrastructure.
Major Inaugurations Worth ₹12.43 Crore
During the event, the Chief Minister inaugurated completed development works worth ₹12.43 crore. Key highlights include:
- Opening of the newly built Atal Parisar
- A commercial complex in Imlipara constructed at a cost of ₹10 crore
- Construction of a new floor at Marathi Kanya Shala
- Development of Rakshit Aarakshi Kendra
Addressing the gathering, CM Sai emphasized that these facilities will enhance public convenience and contribute to modernizing Bilaspur’s urban landscape.
Foundation Laid for ₹14.50 Crore New Projects
In addition to inaugurations, foundation stones were laid for new projects worth ₹14.50 crore. These projects include:
- Road construction and upgrades
- Development of public buildings
- Expansion of basic civic amenities
