Mr. Shyamal Misra, a 1996-batch Haryana cadre IAS officer currently serving as Chief Administrator, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, New Delhi, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities. He has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of both the Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA) and the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA).
In this new role, Mr. Misra will also serve as Principal Secretary for the Civil Aviation Department, Haryana. With this appointment, Mr. A. Sreenivas, a 2008-batch Haryana cadre IAS officer, has been relieved of the FMDA charge. Mr. Misra will continue as Chief Administrator of the Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, New Delhi, alongside his additional responsibilities.
