The current DGP-rank officers serving in the state include:

- Ajay Singhal
The addition of Alok Mittal and Dr. Chawla will significantly strengthen the state’s senior police leadership, especially at a time when administrative efficiency and law enforcement effectiveness are key governance priorities.
Promotion Follows National Trend Among 1993-Batch IPS Officers
According to sources, most 1993-batch IPS officers across the country have already been promoted to the DGP rank, and Haryana’s process is now nearing completion.
This promotion not only reflects the officers’ seniority but also their professional contributions to policing and public service.
