Kolkata: Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) will organize an International Seminar on “Critical and Strategic Minerals for Viksit Bharat @ 2047” on November 9, 2025, as part of its 59th Foundation Day celebrations. The event will focus on the pivotal role of critical and strategic minerals in nation-building and ensuring India’s resource security as the country progresses toward the goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047.

The seminar will be attended by policy-makers, statesmen, senior bureaucrats, foreign dignitaries, and top leaders of India’s mining sector. It aims to foster meaningful discussions among industry experts, scientists, and academicians on the importance of minerals that underpin technological innovation, renewable energy systems, and advanced manufacturing.
