Rajasthan: In a major boost to India’s industrial growth and circular economy initiatives, Hindustan Zinc Limited (BSE: 500188, NSE: HINDZINC), the world’s largest integrated zinc producer, has entered into a strategic partnership with CMR Green Technologies Ltd., India’s leading non-ferrous metal recycling company. The collaboration aims to establish a state-of-the-art, low-emission zinc alloy manufacturing facility at Zinc Park, Rajasthan, strengthening the park’s position as India’s first integrated zinc-based industrial ecosystem.
Second Major Partnership for Zinc Park
This agreement marks the second key collaboration at Zinc Park, following a previous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tripura Group. Designed as a renewable energy-powered industrial hub, Zinc Park is strategically located near Hindustan Zinc’s major operations at Chanderiya, Dariba, and Debari. This ensures seamless logistics, consistent raw material supply, and a conducive environment for downstream zinc applications.
The new facility will cater to industries such as automotive, infrastructure, die-casting, and consumer goods, enabling high-quality, low-emission zinc alloy production. It is expected to significantly enhance downstream value addition for zinc, supporting India’s industrial self-reliance and innovation goals.

Focus on Sustainability and Circular Economy
The partnership emphasizes sustainable metal processing and circular economy principles. CMR Green Technologies brings cutting-edge recycling technologies capable of producing alloys with up to 95% lower emissions compared to primary metal production. This initiative is a step forward in promoting eco-friendly manufacturing practices, reducing the carbon footprint of industrial zinc applications, and fostering resource efficiency.
