The Government of Rajasthan has relieved Mr. Ashish Gupta, a 2013-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, from his cadre responsibilities, enabling him to take up a central deputation posting. He has been appointed as Joint Director at the Deputy Secretary level in the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the Department of Higher Education.
This central deputation is expected to strengthen administrative capabilities in the NTA, which plays a pivotal role in conducting national-level entrance examinations.
