Athar Aamir UI Shafi Khan, an IAS officer of 2016 batch from the Rajasthan cadre, has been granted an extension for his Inter-Cadre Deputation from the Rajasthan cadre to the AGMUT Cadre (Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir).
The extension, which will last for one year beyond 15th February 2025, was confirmed in a recent government order. Khan, who has been serving in the Union Territory, will continue his tenure with the AGMUT Cadre, enabling him to carry out administrative responsibilities in Jammu & Kashmir for an additional year.
This extension is expected to allow Khan to continue his important work in Jammu & Kashmir, contributing to the governance and developmental initiatives in the region.
