Following a directive by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the incumbent Director of the NITI Aayog, the 2003 batch Chhattisgarh cadre IAS officer Avinash Champawat, was repatriated to his parent cadre (after recommendation by NITI Aayog) on personal grounds.
Mr. Champawat had previously served as secretary in Chhattisgarh government’s Water Resources Department.
