Kamal Kishore Soan (IAS), a senior officer from the 1998 Jharkhand cadre, has assumed the additional role of Director General of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, effective May 31.
Mr. Soan currently serves as the Additional Secretary and Director General of Labour Welfare within the same ministry. His extensive experience spans governance and management across various departments in Jharkhand, including Land Revenue Management and District Administration, Agriculture and Cooperation, Health, Building Construction, Transport, Finance, Energy, Water Resources, and Social Justice & Empowerment.
