New Delhi: Lamchonghoi Sweety (L. S.) Changsan, a 1994-batch IAS officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, currently on central deputation as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has been assigned additional charge as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Health Authority (NHA).
The appointment, made as an ex-post facto assignment, is effective for a period of one year starting from August 22, 2024, according to an official order.
Changsan brings extensive administrative experience and is expected to play a crucial role in overseeing and implementing key national health initiatives, including the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY).
