Another Major Reshuffle in MP; 15 IAS Transferred, Abhijeet Agrawal Made Excise Commissioner

In yet another major bureaucratic reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh, the newly elected Mohan Yadav led government has transferred 15 IAS officers.

It is the second major reshuffle at the secretariat level in five days. Before this, the government had transferred 18 officers on Sunday, 28 January, 2024.

1989 batch senior IAS officer and ACS General Administration Department, Mr. Vinod Kumar, has been transferred as Director General RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration.

1993 batch IAS officer Aniruddhe Mukerjee has been made Principal Secretary, Ayush.

1994 batch IAS officer Manish Rastogi has been appointed as Principal Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD). He will also have additional charge of the Jail Department.

2001 batch IAS officer Navneet Kothari is posted as Secretary, Fishermen Welfare. He was serving as managing director MP Industrial Development Corporation and ex officio secretary, industrial policy and investment promotion.

2004 batch IAS officer Ravinder Singh has been appointed as Commissioner Food and Civil Supplies.

2010 batch IAS officer Abhijeet Agrawal has been posted as the Excise Commissioner in place of Omprakash Srivastava, an IAS officer of 2007 batch. While Om Prakash Shrivastava has been posted as Secretary, Home.

2008 batch IAS officer Bharat Yadav has been moved to Chief Minister Officer as secretary to CM with Additional charge of Commissioner Urban Administration and Development.

Avinash Lavania has been made addl secy, CMO, while Tarun Pithode appointed as Commissioner Med Edu.

Executive Director Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Chandramouli Shukla has been posted as Managing Director Industrial Development Corporation, State Industrial Development Corporation Limited. He will also look after the charge of Commissioner Housing Board and Aviation.

Additional Director Mandi Board and 2011 batch IAS officer Gautam Singh will be the Project Director, MP Skill Development Projects.

2010 batch IAS officer Chandra Shekhar Walimbe has been made Additional Secretary to the CM.

2011 batch IAS officer Chandramauli Shukla has been made MD, MPIDC.

2015 batch IAS officer Aditi Garg has been appointed as Deputy Secretary to the CM.

Apart from these transfers, State Administrative Service officer Priyanka Goyal has been made the Additional Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education. She is currently the General Manager in Civil Supplies Corporation.
