1987 batch IAS officer Barun Mitra has been given additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs. He is presently serving as Secretary, Department of Justice.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the concerned Authority has approved the assignment of the additional charge of the post to Mitra with immediate effect and till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
