The Bihar government on Friday 28, 2022 relieved senior IAS officers IAS officer Chanchal Kumar of Bihar cadre who is the Principal Secretary, Chief Minister Secretariat with additional charge of Principal Secretary, GAD, Principal Secretary, Public Grievances, Mission Director, Bihar Administrative Reform Mission Society, to enable him to take up the new assignment as Managing Director, National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (NHIDCL), Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
The central government, on January 18, effected major bureaucratic reshuffle at Additional Secretary level by appointing 13 senior officers to new posts in various ministries and departments. Kumar was given the charge of MD, NHIDCL.
