On March 13th, the central government mandated the reshuffling of 6 senior IAS and Indian Accounts & Audit Services (IA&AS) officers of the Additional Secretary rank.
The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) approved the appointments. Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued the order regarding this.
Mr. Deepak Narain (1993 batch IA&AS officer) was mandated to assume office as the Additional Secretary & Finance Advisor in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Ms. Nidhi Chhibber (1994 batch IAS) was appointed advisor to NITI Aayog. While, Mr. AP Das Joshi (1994 batch IAS), Additional Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
Mr. Rahul Singh (1996 batch IAS) was appointed Chairperson to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), while Mr. Rajeev Kumar Mittal (1998 batch IAS) was appointed Director General of National Mission for Clean Ganga in the Department of Water Resources in the Ministry of Jalshakti.
Mr. Gyanesh Bharti (1998 batch IAS) was mandated to assume office as the Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD).
