IAS Officer Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, currently posted as the Additional Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, will continue the additional responsibility of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA).

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (15.03.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has granted an extension of this additional charge to Mr. Kidwai. The extension is effective from March 5, 2024, for one year or until the appointment of a new CEO, or further notice, whichever occurs earlier.
