In an administrative decision in Haryana, the Manohar Lal Khattar led state government appointed seven newly-inducted IAS officers as OSD to deputy commissioners of seven districts, on 1 December.
According to the order issued by government, OSD to DC is a newly created post in Haryana.
All these IAS officers belong to 2021 batch and are under training.
IAS officer Lakshit Sareen has been posted as OSD office of deputy commissioner Ambala. He was assistant commissioner (under training) Nuh.
Narendra Kumar, assistant commissioner (under training) Hisar, has been posted as OSD office of deputy commissioner Faridabad.
IAS Nisha has been posted as OSD office of deputy commissioner Panchkula. She was assistant commissioner (under training) Ambala.
Sonu Bhatt, assistant commissioner (under training) Faridabad, has been posted as OSD office of deputy commissioner Hisar, while IAS officer Vishwajeet Chaudhary, assistant commissioner (under training) Rohtak, has been posted as OSD office of deputy commissioner Gurugram.
Vivek Arya, assistant commissioner (under training) Karnal, has been posted as OSD office of deputy commissioner Rohtak.
Yash Jaluka, assistant commissioner (under training) Sirsa, has been posted as OSD officer of deputy commissioner Yamunanagar.
Officials justified this newly created post as re-designation under the training period of new officers.
As of now, generally newly inducted IAS would either join as SDMs or trainee collectors in Haryana.
Apart from this, Dr. Jainder Singh Chhilar will also oversee the duties of District Municipal Commissioner, Bhiwani, and Charkhi Dadri, in addition to his present duties, relieving Anupama Anjali of the said charge. Mr Chhilar is serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Charkhi Dadri.
While, among the HCS officers, Vatsal Vashist, Chief Protocol Officer Gurugram, will also look after the work of Additional CEO, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, Gurugram, in addition to his current duties.
