Chandigarh: The Nayab Singh Saini led Haryana government has announced a major reshuffle in the police department, transferring six senior IPS officers with immediate effect. The decision aims to strengthen the law and order machinery and improve administrative efficiency.
According to an official order issued by the Home Department, the following postings have been made:
Ms Charu Bali (HY:1995), presently serving as ADGP/RTC, Bhondsi, Gurugram with additional charge of Bhondsi Police Complex, has been given the additional responsibility of ADGP, State Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau, Haryana.
Mr Y. Puran Kumar (HY:2001), ADGP, Rohtak Range, has been posted as IG, PTC Sunaria, Rohtak.
Mr Maneesh Chaudhary (HY:2005), who was holding the charge of IGP/CID, Haryana with additional charge of IG, Railways and Commando (Haryana), will now exclusively serve as IG, Railways & Commando, Haryana, Panchkula.
This comes after he was relieved of the CID charge.
Mr Ashok Kumar (HY:2006), IG/PTC Sunaria, Rohtak, has been transferred as IGP/CID, Haryana.
Mr Simardeep Singh (HY:2007), IGP/Law & Order (H), IGP/IRB, Bhondsi, will now serve as –
- IGP, Rohtak Range and
- IGP, IRB, Bhondsi.
Mr Kuldeep Singh (HY:2007), IGP/AAC Panchkula & IGP/HSENB, Panchkula, has been transferred as:
- IGP, HSENB, Panchkula, and
- IGP, Law & Order (H).
The order was issued by Dr. Sumita Misra, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Haryana, Home Department.
These transfers are part of the state’s continuous efforts to enhance policing and bring greater efficiency to critical areas such as vigilance, anti-corruption, law and order, and training.
