Chandigarh: In a significant administrative shake-up, the Haryana government led by Nayab Singh Saini has ordered the transfer of 8 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and 12 Haryana Civil Services (HCS) officers. The reshuffle aims to enhance administrative efficiency and streamline governance across various districts.
Transfer of IAS Officers: New Roles and Responsibilities
Among the notable appointments, IAS officer Aparajita has been named Mission Director of the Swachh Bharat Mission, a key role in Haryana’s sanitation drive. Ankita Chaudhary has taken charge as Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation (MC) Gurugram.
Several IAS officers have been appointed as CEOs of District Councils and District Rural Development Agencies (DRDA) across Haryana’s districts, reflecting the government’s focus on decentralized development:
