Chandigarh: A group of IAS probationers from the 2024 batch, currently on a study tour of Chandigarh under the Bharat Darshan programme, met with Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria at the Punjab Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Governor Kataria extended a warm welcome to the young officers and highlighted the significant role they will play in the implementation of government schemes. He emphasized that their work is vital to ensuring that the benefits of these schemes reach the real beneficiaries, especially at the grassroots level.
Kataria encouraged the probationers to dedicate themselves to public service and work towards bringing about a positive transformation in the lives of common people. He also stressed the importance of adopting a proactive approach in strengthening democracy by motivating citizens to actively engage in the electoral process.
