Ms. R Menaka (2011 batch IAS, AGMUT cadre) was mandated to assume office as the Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce (Ministry of Commerce & Industry) for a tenure of four years under central deputation. Following a circular issued by the Department of Training & Personnel (DoPT) on May 9, Ms. Menaka shall occupy her new officer for four years or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier. She had earlier served as a special secretary in the Department of Finance, Government of Delhi (UT).
