To monitor the implementation of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme, the Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao has appointed senior IAS officer Rahul Bojja as Secretary in the Chief Minister Office (CMO). IAS Rahul Bojja is the first-ever Dalit officer to get a position in the Telangana CMO. CM Rao appointed him after the launch of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme at Huzurabad.
KCR was getting criticized for not posting any Dalit IAS and IPS officers in his CMO team. However, he silences the critics by appointing IAS Rahul Bojja as CMO secretary.
