IAS officer Dr. Suman Billa has been empanelled for Additional Secretary/Additional Secretary Equivalent level posts in the Government of India.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of Dr. Billa for holding Additional Secretary/Additional Secretary Equivalent level posts at the Centre.
A 1996 batch Kerala cadre Indian Administrative Service officer, Dr Billa, has studied at the Madras Christian College, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and has been a British Chevening Gurukula Scholar at the London School of Economics.
An M. Phil by qualification, Dr Billa started his career as Assistant Collector in Alappuzha in 1998 and has handled various responsibilities in both home cadre Kerala and in Central departments.
