Dr. Yadav announced and inaugurated 105 development projects valued at more than ₹500 crore for Chhindwara district.

Among the major projects is the Tamia–Junnardeo road, constructed at a cost of ₹133 crore, aimed at improving inter-district connectivity and easing regional transport movement.

He said farmers in the state are already receiving ₹12,000 annual financial assistance, while women under the Ladli Behna Yojana are receiving ₹1,500 every month.

According to him, the next phase of agricultural policy will focus on increasing farmers’ income through diversification beyond traditional crop cultivation.

Farmers Encouraged to Expand into Allied Sectors

Dr. Yadav said farmers are being encouraged to supplement income through:

  • animal husbandry
  • dairy farming
  • fisheries
  • horticulture
  • food processing

He stated that the objective is to double farmers’ earnings and strengthen rural prosperity, calling the present period a “golden era” for the state’s agrarian economy.

Religious Development Linked with Infrastructure Push

On the occasion of Maha Ashtami, the Chief Minister inaugurated the event by lighting a ceremonial lamp and performing Kanya Pujan.

He also extended greetings to the people of the state ahead of Ram Navami.

Dr. Yadav said Chhindwara has received a gift of nearly ₹500 crore, while Pandhurna has received projects worth more than ₹350 crore.

Shri Hanuman Lok and Ram Heritage Projects Highlighted

The Chief Minister said he had the privilege of inaugurating Shri Hanuman Lok near Chhindwara and Pandhurna, and linked the project to broader religious tourism development in the state.

He said that after the construction of the temple in Ayodhya, Madhya Pradesh is actively developing Chitrakoot Dham and advancing work on the Shri Ram Gaman Path across the state.

Facilities are also being expanded at:

  • Mahakaleshwar Temple
  • Sharda Devi Temple

Chhindwara Airport, Health Centres and Education Projects Announced

Bunty Vivek Sahu, who also addressed the event, said the state government has sanctioned 84 sub-health centres for tribal areas of Chhindwara.

He added that new schools, hostels and airport development in Chhindwara will strengthen long-term regional identity and connectivity.

The airport project, he said, will give Chhindwara a distinct development profile in the state.

Public Representatives Attend Programme

Several public representatives and district officials were present during the programme, which combined welfare distribution, project inauguration and religious observances.

The event marked one of the major district-level development announcements by the state government in recent weeks.
