Jharkhand: 8 IAS Officers Transferred, K. Srinivasan Made Secy, Rural Development Department

In an administrative reshuffle in Jharkhand, the Champai Soren led state government has transferred and posted 8 IAS officers.

2005 batch IAS officer K. Srinivasan has been made the Secretary of the Rural Development Department. He will also have the additional charge of Secretary of Rural Affairs Department and Director of Shri Krishna Institute of Public Administration (SKIPA).

While 1987 batch IAS officer Sukhdeo Singh, the incumbent Director general of SKIPA, has been given the additional-charge of the chief residential commissioner, Jharkhand Bhawan New Delhi.

CM’s secretary Arwa Raj Kamal, an IAS officer of 2008 batch, has been given additional charge of residential commissioner, Jharkhand Bhawan.

The Secretary of Rural Development Department, Mr Chandrashekhar, an IAS officer of 2008 batch, has been posted as Secretary of the Urban Development Department. He will also have the additional charge of Managing Director of JUIDCO and GRDA. The Personnel Department issued a notification in this regard.

Secretary of food, public distribution and consumer affairs department Dr Amitabh Kaushal will have additional charge as secretary of the information and public relation department.

Secretary (in-charge) labour, employment, training and skill development department, Mukesh Kumar will also take over the position of secretary (in-charge) of excise and liquor prohibition department.

Managing director of the Jharkhand state food corporation Satender Kumar will have additional-charge of director town administration under the urban development and housing department.
