Amidst a recent development, a senior IAS officer, Mr. Anil Diggikar (1991 batch), was mandated to assume office as the General Manager of the Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST). Having served as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of CIDCO, Officer Diggikar ropes in a gamut of experience from the bureaucracy.
From serving as an assistant collector of Ratnagiri to serving as the commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal corporation, Director General of Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (Mahaurja) in Pune, and as additional commissioner in BMC, Officer Diggikar’s glorious journey in the bureaucracy is a testament of his administrative acumen.
