In yet another major bureaucratic reshuffle in Rajasthan by the newly elected Bhajan Lal government after Assembly Election 2023, 40 IAS officers have been transferred and posted.

1998 batch IAS officer T. Ravikant, who is also Principal Secretary to the CM, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary, Urban Development & Housing Department and Principal Secretary, Self Government.

While Kuldeep Ranka, an IAS officer of 1994 batch who was the Principal Secretary to former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, has been given the responsibility of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Social Justice and Empowerment.

1988 batch IAS officer Subodh Agarwal has been posted as Chairman of Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Institute (IGPRS). He was ACS, Water Supply Department.

1993 batch IAS officer Akhil Arora remains as ACS Finance, Excise and Taxation. But, IT and DIPR departments have been taken away from him.

1993 batch IAS officer Aparna Arora has been retained on the post of ACS, Revenue and Colonization, while Sainik Welfare and Devasthan have been taken away from her.

1994 batch IAS officer Anand Kumar has been retained on the post of ACS, Home, Home Guard, Jail, ACB and has been given Disaster Management in place of Transport and Roadways.

Sandeep Verma, an IAS officer of 1993 batch, has been appointed as ACS in PWD. He was posted in Department of Science and Technology.

1994 batch IAS officer Shreya Guha will be the ACS of Transport Department.

1995 batch IAS officer Bhaskar Atmaram Sawant has been transferred to the Food and Civil Supply department as Principal Secretary. Kunji Lal Meena has been posted as Chairman of Indira Gandhi Canal Board.

Ajitabh Sharma has been given charge of Industry, MSME and Bureau of Industrial Promotion, Alok Gupta Energy Department; and Vaibhav Galeria Agriculture.

2006 batch IAS officer Arti Dogra has been shifted to the IT Department as Secretary, while 2007 batch IAS officer Ms. Anandhi will be the Secretary, Mines and Petroleum.

Suchi Tyagi is posted as Secretary, Cooperative and Rajan Vishal will be Secretary, Minority Affairs and Waqf.

IAS Sandesh Nayak has been appointed as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister and Sunil Sharma has been made the Commissioner of the Department of Information and Public Relations.

Mukul Sharma has been made Salumber District Collector and Utsah Chaudhary Commissioner of Jodhpur Development Authority.

Apart from this, Utsaha Chaudhary has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Jodhpur JDA. Manju Rajpal has been appointed as JDA Commissioner, Jaipur, and Mahesh Sharma has been made Ajmer Divisional Commissioner.
