Rajasthan: Big Reshuffle of 11 IAS, Including 4 Collectors; Iqbal Khan Made Commissioner, Medical Education

On 15 February, the Department of Personnel (DoP) mandated the transfer of 11 IAS officers including four District Collectors.

The Managing Director at Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), the 2008 batch Rajasthan cadre IAS officer Sushma Arora, was instructed to return to her previous role as the MD at Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation.

Commissioner of the Rajasthan Housing Board, 2010 batch Rajasthan cadre IAS officer Inderjeet Singh, was re-appointed as the commissioner and special secretary, information technology and communication department and managing director RAJCOMP Info Services Limited. Mr. Singh was also instructed to assume office with the additional charge as the commissioner of the Rajasthan Housing Board.

District Collector and magistrate of Neem Ka Thana, 2013 batch IAS officer Shruti Bhardwaj, shall assume office as the new Collector in Deeg. While the district collector and magistrate of Khairthal-Tijara, Officer Hanuman Mal Dhaka (2014 batch IAS), got transferred to Dudu. 

2015 batch IAS Officer, Sharad Mehra, incumbent as the district collector and magistrate of Deeg, got transferred as the collector of Neem Ka Thana, and officer Artika Shukla (2016 batch IAS), district collector and magistrate of Dudu got transferred to Khairthal-Tijara.

The commissioner of the medical education department, Nakate Shivprasad Madan (2011 batch IAS officer), shall assume office as the new MD at RIICO. Iqbal Khan, incumbent as the joint secretary to the medical education department, was transferred and posted as the commissioner of the medical education department and commissioner (food safety and drug control), commissioner of food safety and drug control.
