Reshuffle of IAS officers by DoPT

3 IAS officers got transferred as DCO/DCR and one IAS officer's tenure extended.

IAS officer M Ramachandrudu of batch 2009 of Bihar and IAS officer Prabhat Kumar of batch 2011 of Jharkhand has been appointed to the post of Director of Census Operations(DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration(DCR) Deputy Secretary level), Bihar and Director of Census Operations(DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration(DCR) (Deputy Secretary level), Jharkhand respectively. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Ramachandrudu and Kumar to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period up to 31.12.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Similarly, IAS officer Th. Chitra Devi of batch 2009 of Manipur has been appointed to the post of Director of Census Operations(DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration(DCR) (Deputy Secretary level), Manipur. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Ms. Devi to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period up to 31.12.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Whereas, IAS officer Ajay Kumar Garg of batch 2010 of AGMUT, central deputation tenure as Director of Census Operations(DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration(DCR), Delhi has been extended for a period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to extend the deputation tenure of Garg for a period of two years beyond 01.09.2022 and up to 01.09.2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
