In a recent development, as many as six Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HAS) officers got promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) ranks.
Mr. Vivek Chandel (2004 batch HAS officer), presently posted as the Director-cum-Warden of Fisheries in Bilaspur, was promoted to the IAS.
Mr. Rajeev Kumar (2003 batch HAS officer), presently posted as the Managing Director at HPTDC, was promoted to the IAS.
Apart from them, Mr. Sunil Sharma, Mr. Vinay Kumar, Mr. Dalip Kumar Negi, and Dr. Pankaj Lalit were made promotee IAS officers owing to their distinguished service in the state bureaucracy.
