Amidst a recent development, Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma (2009 batch IAS), the incumbent Managing Director of Health System Corporation in Punjab, was asked to assume additional charge as the Special Secretary and HOD in the Department of Water Supply & Sanitation. Officer Sharma further replaced Mr. Amit Talwar (2013 batch IAS) as the Director of the Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training.
