The Telangana government on Thursday transferred eight officers. The government has given top priority to the energy wing and four of the eight officers’ were allocated to the energy department. The officers transferred are –
- Senior IAS officer and principal secretary of Youth Affairs, Tourism and Culture department Shailaja Ramaiyer has been made principal secretary of health department.
- Present health secretary Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi has been posted as secretary of energy department also incharge of chairman and managing director of Telangana Transco and Genco.
- Former excise commissioner Musharraf Ali Faruqui is posted as CMD of TSSPDCL (Southern discom).
- IAS officer Karnati Varun Reddy was appointed as CMD of TSNPDCL (Northern discom) at Warangal.
- Sandeep Kumar Jha, who is in the IT, Electronics and Communications department, has been made joint managing director of Transco in place of Srinivasa Rao.
- Amrapall Kata, who recently reported to the state government after completing her central deputation was appointed as joint metropolitan commissioner of HMDA and also incharge MD of Musi Riverfront Development Corporation.
- Director of Industries and joint secretary of finance D Krishna Bhaskar has been transferred as officer on special duty to deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
- B Gopi, former collector of Karimnagar, was posted as director of agriculture, which is lying vacant and Agriculture secretary M Raghunandan Rao was holding additional charge.
