Two bureaucrats were recently appointed as Private Secretaries to two Union Ministers.
- IAS officer Ravinder Kumar (2012-batch AGMUT cadre) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Mr. Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Officer Kumar has been appointed to the post from the date of assumption of charge of the post and for the period up to April 18th, 2028 (for balance for four years central deputation tenure) or on co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier.
- IRS (IT) officer Gaurav Bharill (2012-batch) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Union Minister for State for Tribal Affairs, Mr. Durgadas Uikey. Officer Bharill has been appointed to the post from the date of assumption of charge of the post and for the period up to October 28th, 2027, (for a balance period out of the maximum admissible limit of 7 years away from cadre) or on co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier.
