1996 batch IAS officer Rupinder Singh of Maharashtra cadre has been transferred and posted as Resident Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi.
Prior to assuming the charge of Resident Commissioner, he served as the Deputy Director General of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UDAI) of the Union Government for Seven years.
