A 1990 batch IAS officer from Telangana cadre, Shashank Goel, who is the Additional Secretary in the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment has been repatriated to his parent cadre.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Thursday (18.05.2023) approved the repatriation Mr. Goel to his parent cadre.
Mr. Goel was relieved from the charge of Telangana chief electoral officer (CEO) from February 11, 2022, to enable him to take up his central assignment as the additional secretary of the union labour and employment ministry.
