1989 batch senior IAS officer Sujata Chaturvedi (Bihar Cadre), currently serving as Secretary in the Department of Sports, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary in the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
An official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (28.03.2025) confirms that the competent authority approved the additional charge following the relinquishment of the position by Sumita Dwara (IAS: 1991: AP).
This arrangement will remain in place until the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
