IAS V Lalithalakshmi has recently been appointed Secretary in the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) with an additional charge of CEO, Karmayogi Bharat, under the Department of Personnel and Training, for an overall tenure of five years up to 28/02/2027. Ms. Lalithalakshmi is a 2008 batch West Bengal cadre IAS officer who had earlier served as a Director in the PMO.
