Following a notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on February 22nd, the 2015 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Vikranth Raja A, was mandated to assume office as the Director of Census Operation (DCO) and Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) of Lakshadweep till December 31st, 2025, or until further notification, whichever transpires earlier.
The officer had previously served as the Chief Electoral Officer in Lakshadweep, UT.
