The Madhya Pradesh government has granted proforma promotion to Mr. Vivek Agrawal (1994-batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer) in the Chief Secretary grade. Additionally, Ms. Rashmi Arun Shami (1994-batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer) has also been promoted to the Chief Secretary grade in the state.

In another significant development, three senior IAS officers have been assigned additional responsibilities:
- Mr. Ashok Barnawal (1991-batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer), Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Forest, will now also serve as the Agriculture Production Commissioner.
- Mr. Sanjay Dubey (1993-batch IAS officer), ACS, General Administration Department (GAD), has been given additional charge as Chairman, Employees Selection Board.
- Mr. E Ramesh Kumar (1999-batch IAS officer), Principal Secretary (PS), Scheduled Caste Welfare, has been assigned additional responsibility as PS, Denotified, Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Tribes Department.
These administrative changes reflect the government’s strategy to optimize governance and ensure efficient service delivery in the state.
