Ms Anu Singh, a 2011 batch Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICLS) officer, has been appointed to two significant roles in the health sector. She will serve as the State Mission Director for the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) under the National Health Authority. Additionally, she will take on the role of Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for Health Planning, Monitoring, and e-Health, assisting the Commissioner of Health and the National Health Mission in Arunachal Pradesh.
In her new capacity as State Mission Director, Ms Singh will oversee the implementation and management of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission in the state. The ABDM aims to enhance the accessibility and efficiency of healthcare services through digital solutions, supporting the broader goal of universal health coverage.
As OSD on Health Planning, Monitoring, and e-Health, she will play a crucial role in planning, monitoring, and evaluating health initiatives, as well as implementing e-health solutions to improve healthcare delivery in Arunachal Pradesh. Her role will be instrumental in coordinating efforts to advance health services and infrastructure in the state.
Smt. Anu Singh’s dual appointments reflect the government’s commitment to strengthening health systems and ensuring effective execution of health policies and digital initiatives. Her extensive experience and expertise in health planning and administration are expected to significantly contribute to the advancement of healthcare in Arunachal Pradesh.
