New Delhi: Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has announced the appointment of Shri Anurag Sharma as its new Director (Infrastructure). A seasoned officer from the 1994 batch of the Indian Engineering Services (IES), Mr Sharma brings with him a rich and diverse experience across Indian Railways, BSNL, and DFCCIL itself.
Over the years, Mr Sharma has made significant contributions to the planning and execution of key infrastructure initiatives. Notably, he played an instrumental role in the development of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, a critical project aimed at enhancing freight logistics and boosting economic growth through improved rail infrastructure.
His leadership is expected to further strengthen DFCCIL’s ongoing efforts to expand and modernize India’s freight rail network. The DFCCIL family extended a warm welcome to Shri Sharma as he steps into this vital role.
DFCCIL is a Public Sector Company registered under the Companies Act, 1956 and engaged in construction, maintenance and operation of dedicated freight railway tracks popularly known as corridors.
