Mr. Anant Prakash Pandey, a 1999-batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer of the Haryana cadre, has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. He will serve in this role at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix for a tenure of five years.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Pandey was serving as Chief General Manager of the Haryana Forest Development Corporation, Gurugram, while also holding the additional charge of Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), Gurugram. With extensive experience in forest management and conservation, his expertise is expected to contribute significantly to the ministry’s efforts in tribal welfare and sustainable development.
