Senior Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Mr. Srinivas Gotru has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), according to reports from Dynamite News.
A 1997-batch IFS officer, Mr. Gotru is presently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). In his distinguished career, he has previously represented India at the United Nations in the same capacity, showcasing his expertise in diplomacy and multilateral relations.
