Speaking on the occasion, Kamal Kishore Chatiwal, Managing Director, IGL, described the alliance as a “defining milestone” in IGL’s journey of growth and excellence.

“We take pride in being the first Indian City Gas Distribution company to venture internationally in the natural gas sector. Our partnership with MASAH reflects IGL’s commitment to innovation, quality, and strategic expansion as we bring world-class clean energy solutions to new global markets,” he said.

Mohammed Abdul Nayeem, Chairman of MASAH Construction Company, emphasized the partnership’s alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

“This collaboration goes beyond economic synergy—it represents a shared commitment to innovation and sustainability. By combining MASAH’s infrastructure expertise with IGL’s proven capabilities in city gas operations, we aim to build resilient systems that benefit industries, communities, and the environment,” he remarked.

The alliance will harness IGL’s expertise in planning, design, and operation of gas networks and MASAH’s proficiency in engineering, procurement, construction, and local stakeholder engagement. The partnership underscores IGL’s expanding role in global clean energy transition and India’s growing influence in sustainable energy innovation.

This strategic move is expected to foster operational excellence, capacity building, and knowledge exchange, driving mutual growth and reinforcing both nations’ commitment to a cleaner, greener future.
